Title: Those Times We Wish We Had Pensieves
House: Ravenclaw
Word count: 100 spot-on
Challenge: In Memoriam
Characters: Harry, and mentions of dead people

Their names and faces parade through his mind, in the order they died. Dad. Mum. Cedric. Sirius. Dumbledore. All dead and gone, for the sake of protecting him.

He rolls over and buries his face into his pillow, willing their faces to fade. It isn’t cowardice or failure to do homage to their memories. He just wants one last peaceful night of sleep before he leaves tomorrow. He has a feeling he will be sleeping badly on his journey.

When this is all over, he will remember them properly, like they deserve.

Then, he will invest in a good Pensieve.

Title: The Only Thing He Ever Feared
House: Ravenclaw
Word count: 100
Challenge: In Memoriam
Characters: Voldemort

He wishes nothing more than to cause as much chaos and death as possible. He has spilled innocent blood, ripped families apart, inspired fear in people’s hearts, and done all in his power to become immortal.

The only record of his memories was a diary that became a Horcrux. But he doesn’t need a diary to remember three decades worth of bloodshed and mayhem. Even if his mind wasn’t in good order, there are numerous tomes on the subject. This pleases him to no end.

The one thing he fears, second only to an ignoble death, is to be forgotten.
