He had to share his mum. He tried not to mind; Harry was his best mate. And he knew Harry’s mum was dead. But still, he couldn’t. He understood, Harry didn’t ask for any of this, but neither did he. He never asked to be the second best. He never asked to be the hero’s best friend. It wasn’t his fault he didn’t have a bloody scar on his forehead. It wasn’t his fault he wasn’t a parselmouth. It wasn’t his bloody fault.
Ron sighed and stared out the window.
Everyone else likes Harry better, why does Mum have to?
