Ginny hugged her big brother. “It’s okay, Ronnie! I won’t let it hurt you!” But Ron refused to emerge from under the sofa pillows. She turned to glare at the twins. “You guys are mean!”
They only laughed harder. “Pretty fierce for a four-year-old, isn’t she George,” jeered Fred.
“Oh, no, big bad Ginny’s mad at us!” replied George. “I’m so scared!”
“You are mean and I don’t like you!” She stomped out.
Their giggles stopped abruptly when she returned with their mother. “Ginny tells me you turned Ron’s bear into a spider AGAIN,” Molly said sternly.
“Snitch,” muttered George.
