Remus counted off his steps and turned right as indicated in the note. When he came to a stop, he waited, and a few seconds later, another line of directions appeared on the parchment. The note was unsigned and most likely leading him into a trap, but some indescribable feeling had urged him obey it, despite the danger.
He stopped in the prescribed spot, but no more lines appeared. Looking around bemusedly at the shabby houses and abandoned mill, he wondered if there had been a mistake in the directions until he heard a familiar, silky voice call out, “Stupefy!”
