A/N: It's not just the Muggles the Wizards effect, after all. Sorry, this is born out of my total and complete frustration with this stupid java program I have due tomorrow that I cannot make work to save my life.
Hermione frowned in concentration, trying to follow the instructions to the letter. As she worked, sweat poured down her face and her hands shook.
The portkey should glow green once the spell is set.
Panting, Hermione laid her wand down and waited. And waited. Finally, with a strangled sob, she picked up the necklace and threw it against the door. "This spell sucks!" She yelled, trying to vent some of her anger.
Ron could do it. Harry could definitely do it. If they could do it, so could she.
Meanwhile, out in the Mohabi desert, a rat looked around curiously.

Pulling her dragonskin gloves on first, Bellatrix slid the pound coin into a handbag. Not bothering to lock her door, Bella set off on her walk.
Getting to a good spot in the worst stews of London, Bella spoke three words and dropped the pound coin under the street lamp. Quickly, she strode off, trusting that no good Samaritans would stop her. Reaching the shadows, she turned to see one of the thugs pick up the note and disappear.
Grinning evilly, Bellatrix walked on. She hoped he liked his free one way trip.
To the bottom of an active volcano.
