Ooh... these are all good. I'm especially fond of the first one; the last line is so powerful. But they're all beautiful pieces of writing. Kudos!

Dude. I pulled this challenge out of thin air when I realized I was late with it, and you are just tearing it up. These are so nice. I like the second one especially well.

You're killing me. That first one just killed me. (But before I die, can I say how glad I am that you're writing for Hufflepuff? Puff pride!)

Okay, second one killed me, too. Okay, they're all really good. Where are you getting your name info, google, or do you just know this stuff?

The information about the meanings of James and Peter can be found on any baby name site. I happen to know a lot about Norse myths, but you can find the story of Fenrir on a number of sites on the web. Here are a couple:

Fenrir

Brewer's Dictionary

Percival figures heavily in Arthurian romances. He's frequently depicted as foolish, unintentionally getting himself into trouble because of his words or his actions. But he's also depicted as an simple man who wants to do what's right. Depending on the story, he either does or doesn't get to see the Grail--but he always comes close. The spear, interestingly enough, can heal wounds as well as inflict them--it depends upon the intent of the person using the spear.

You can find the meaning for Petunia here. (Though frankly, I think that "resentment" and "anger" suit her better than "your presence soothes me.")
