Hermione sat in the Gryffindor common room thinking back, discovering how much she had changed over the past seven years. The shy, bookish girl of her past was subtly present, yet a stronger, more powerful Hermione shone through. Not only had she escaped a troll, solved riddles, and saved a wanted wizard, but she had gained two best friends. Never before had she had that. Back at home, people thought her to be swotty and a bit odd. But that was not the case for Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. They had transformed her into a better friend and person.
