He sat down on the bed beside her. ‘You have the rest of your life ahead of you,’ he murmured. ‘I don’t expect to survive this war.’
To his surprise, she burst out laughing. ‘Sometimes you can be a right idiot, you know that, Remus? Hogwarts might get blown up tonight and all you can do is worry about spoiling the rest of my life?’
She took his hand. ‘Stop worrying about the future and start living in the present.’
