Ginny approached gifts of lingerie the same way Ron supported the Chudley Cannons: despite numerous disappointments, she could never abandon hope. Crispen bought bras in the cup size he wished Ginny was, while Elise preferred items made of minimally processed fabrics and sewn without tailoring charms -- the result resembled a cropped burlap sack.
This year, Ginny was astounded to receive a beautiful slip that flowed like a satin waterfall. As Tonks nudged the straps off of Ginny's shoulders with her lips, Ginny decided that the true test of any lingerie's worth was how little time it spent on you.
