Word count: 100

Author's notes: Apologies to Neil Gaiman fo nicking his last line...

The wizard hangs suspended by a circle of wands. Vaguely, he recognises a junior auror among his captors.

Their leader, a heavy grey cloak shadowing his face, wipes away streaks of someone else's blood.

“Alberto Malich,” he intones, “you stand accused of murdering Cassandra Malich and Rubeus Flamel, and casting the- ahem- “Dark mark”. Presumably,” he smirks, grin just visible in twilight, “thereby attempting to fool the Ministry into blaming the Death Eaters for their murder. How do you plead?”

A wand twitches. “Very guilty indeed,” says Alberto's mouth.

Dolohov removes his hood. “And now, we're going to take turns.”
