The adults would have said he’d had a loving home but he knew different. No one appreciated him for what he was. No one at all.
He’d been abused, one way or another, every day of his life. The bigger boys beat him up. Took his things. Hid them. The girls ignored him.
When she said he wasn’t important, something inside him gave way.
He picked up the scarred length of yew and studied it. With a single flick of the wrist, he incinerated Harry Potter.
