"Harry, no-come back! You promised-"
"Gin, wake up," a tearful Hermione whispered, shaking her friend. "He’s gone."
Ginny sat up, eyes wide, still stuck in reminiscence.
The Dark Mark, floating above Godric’s Hollow.
Harry lying sprawled on his back, blood trickling from his mouth, emerald eyes lifeless.
Their daughter, showing signs of being tortured to death.
"But Harry." Ginny cried and wailed, hoping that the tears she shed would bring him back to life.
"Ginny, he’s not coming back," Hermione said softly.
The mark… the serpentine tongue slithering around the skull in the air...
"Hermione, bring him back."
