"Weren't you raised by Muggles? I'd expect this sort of struggle from Ron, not you."
Harry flinched at the sound of her ex's name on her lips, but she fortunately missed his reaction for he was entirely facing the fireplace.
"The Dursley's have an electric one." He poked the coals fruitlessly. "This is hopeless. May I please use my wand?"
"Oh, all right!" Hermione huffed. "But only because I'm getting cold!"
Harry quickly muttered the incantation and crawled back to lie beside her as the flames danced up into the chimney.
"Warmer?" he asked, wrapping his arms around her.
"Much."
