Notes: My first post of fanfic ANYWHERE...:/ Slightly nervous.
Hermione attempted to ignore the shrieks and giggles resonating through the bedchamber. Her Potions book could not hold her attention, though, given the conversation topic.
A fresh eruption of girly noise prompted an exasperated sigh and, unexpectedly, tears. She slid the heavy book to the floor. “Nox,” she whispered, and they could no longer see her face.
They must have thought she was asleep-she did so frequently fall fast asleep quickly, exhausted from studying. “D’you think she thought. . .chance with Ron?” More squeals and giggles.
Hermione gripped the pillow, wanting to scream. She did not like being a jealous girl.
