Author's Notes: After writing the whole Harry dies leaving Draco alone scenario I wanted something happy. I’m not sure this is - happy happy - but at least no one dies.

There’s smoke - everywhere there’s smoke. Harry starts running. The Gryffindor-red flames seem to be reaching for the sky.
“Malfoy!” he yells, voice hoarse and broken, smoke going straight down his lungs. He coughs violently.
“Draco?” Nobody answers, roaring fire the only sound audible. He stops because he knows it’s too late.
Malfoy’s gone. Dead.
“How stupid are you, Potty?” Hands grab his shoulders, spinning him around to face a furious, frightened Draco, “Why are you standing here like a complete moron? Run, fuckwit!”
Harry kisses him when he realises Malfoy’s eyes are the same blackish grey colour as the smoke.
