Title: Dimensions
House: Gryffindor
Characters/Pairing: Draco, and um, himself.
Challenge: Changes
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Author’s Notes: About Draco and his multiple personalities. More notes inside - cut for spoilers!
Draco, you’ve changed.
“That’s obvious.”
Draco, he’s about to kill you. Do you want to live, or do you want to die?
“You should know that one too.”
There’s still hope, you know. Draco, if you just asked-
“Shut up, I don’t want to hear it.”
But it’s the truth, Draco. Realize it.
“...”
Your mother wouldn’t’ve wanted you to die this way, Draco.
Sometimes, your own mind is the one thing that works against you.
She died for you. And this is how you thank her, by giving up? Remember what she said, Draco...
“Don’t give up. Never give up.”
Cut Notes: So, this is slightly reminiscent of POA, where Lupin was talking to Harry about going out into Hogsmeade with his cloak. Except he’s talking to himself, to his more rational side. It makes a little sense, he’s been dealing with himself a lot throughout all of book six.
Title: The Past
House: Gryffindor
Characters/Pairing: Harry, Lupin, mentions Snape
Challenge: Changes
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Author’s Notes: Hey, look! It's more CAPSLOCK!Harry, even though he's changed a bit in the new book. More notes inside - cut for spoilers!
"He did it for the Order. He did it for us, for the sake of everyone."
"I - DON'T - CARE!" Harry screamed, unable to contain his rage. It didn't matter the reason, he'd still murdered Dumbledore. That wasn't something one could easily forget.
"Harry, it took great courage and bravery to do what he did. It's complicated. You have to realize that he's changed."
"Changed?" he scoffed. "Oh, right, change. You expect me to believe that a man who hates me because of my father and something that happened twenty years ago could change?"
"You need to believe. Everyone can change."
Cut Notes: I guess this one fits the challenge more than my
other Harry-hating-Snape drabble. This one's a bit more realistic. It seems to me as if Harry would hate Snape for a while, no matter what. Someone like Snape is a bit hard to get over. Oh, and, sorry for all the underlining.
