"Ron and Hermione were not killed in the battle," Harry said with forced calmness. "There would be no reason to remove their bodies. So, it's logical to assume that they're alive somewhere."
He hoped that he was being logical.
"You're pathetic, Potter," sneered Draco. "Do you think really think that the Portkey took them someplace safe? Like a tropical island, maybe?"
Harry glared at their prisoner. "What makes you think that a Portkey was involved? Tell me what you know, or I'll pound it out of you!"
"They're DEAD!"
"Take that back, Ferret-face!"
But Draco couldn't talk in ferret form.
