Hermione walked along the corridor silently, her footsteps echoing off the stone walls. She was going to meet the Head Boy, Draco Malfoy, for a night of ‘patrolling’. A cackling Seamus approached her on his way to the Gryffindor common room.
“Hermione and Malfoy sittin’ in a tree..”
“Get to the commons before I report you for breaking curfew!” She scowled and shoved her way passed him.
“K-I-S-S-I-N-G!”
“You’re disgusting!” She shouted back. A sly smirk spread across her lips as she continued, quickening her pace. He had no idea how close he’d gotten to the root of her facade.
