Author's Notes: I've been wanting to write this for a while, and I'm happy with the way it turned out, the last line especially.

For once in his life, Harry has tasted freedom. Sirius is with him, free as well. Harry has discovered his father’s best friend, the closest thing to a father he has ever had. Leaving the roots of the Whomping Willow he can feel his life changing; he knows that things will never be the same.
Peter is finally going to be punished for betraying his parents. Tonight, Harry’s life seems almost perfect. Slowly the moon rises and shines its light on Hogwarts. In three transformations, Harry’s life is changed inevitably. One minute of moonlight, and his freedom leaves him forever.
