“We’re through, aren’t we?”
The golden afternoon sunlight reflected in his glasses, and made Harry’s eyes hard to see as they stood on the Quidditch Pitch together, after practice. She wished she could see them - it would make it a lot easier.
“Yes, I think so,” Ginny said, sadly.
“You don’t feel,” Harry began, his cheeks reddening, and Ginny sensed what was coming, “You don’t regret any…any of it, do you?”
Ginny’s mind automatically wandered back to tangled sheets and tears and tender words.
“No,” she said, smiling warmly, and putting a hand on his bicep, “I’ll never regret that.”

“Phwaorgh, she’s looking good today. Must be last year’s skirt, it’s awfully short…no! No, don’t pull it down! Bugger. Ah, well…Nice thighs. Meaty…not too much, mind you, just enough. God, I’d like to -”
Hermione coughed violently, and sniffed.
“You’re not getting sick, are you?” Ron asked, concernedly.
“Oh, no, I’m fine.” She returned to her parchment.
“Damn right you are, you little minx. Ugh, she must think I’m a total idiot. She’s so smart, and…and…God, I’d like to -”
Hermione coughed violently again. Had she known that being a Legilimens would be so distracting, she’d never have begun training.
Title: Forgive and Forget
Words: 100
House: Hufflepuff
Challenge: Never
Characters: Remus, Harry, Snape (mentioned)
Author Notes: R, for one dirty word.
“Never is an awfully long time, you know.”
“I don’t care.”
Remus sighed. Harry’d never had a normal life, even before he discovered he was a wizard…perhaps it was too much to ask that he understand this so soon…
“Sirius hit the nail on the head. The world isn’t divided into good people and Death Eaters. It doesn’t matter whether he’s working for Voldemort - It was Snape’s fault, and I’m never going to forgive him.”
“That’s a pretty powerful grudge.”
“Sure, fine.”
“You remind me of someone.”
“Who?”
“Snape.”
“Fuck you!”
Remus sighed again as Harry stormed off.
Too soon.
Title: Forever

Characters: Ron/Hermione
“Ron, what is it?”
Ron’s normally cheeky grin was absent tonight - he didn’t even crack a smile when Hermione tickled behind his knee.
He shrugged mutely.
“Ron, I’m your wife. You can tell me anything.”
“S’nothing,” he began, gruffly, still refusing to meet her eye, “Just…you seemed really happy to see Harry tonight.”
Those heart-breaking baby blues glanced up ever so briefly, and then darted away.
Hermione felt her body relax, and she smiled warmly.
“You don’t… I mean, do you ever wonder what it might have been like, if you and Harry-”
“Never,” Hermione said, kissing away his worry.
