“Now this is the part where you clap,” Molly encouraged, “Go on, now! Clap for Tinkerbell!”
Ginny smacked her chubby hands together frantically, with an enormous, gap-toothed grin. Ron snorted from his spot on the sofa, ignoring his Mum’s dirty look.
Never Never Land - really! Ron was six and a half, far too grown up for that nonsense. More grown-up even than the twins, so there.
“Ron!” Ginny pleaded, “Tinkerbell!”
Ron just slumped deeper into the couch.
But if Molly or Ginny had been listening late that night, they’d have heard Ron sniffling, and clapping his small hands together feverishly.
