Harry was leaving.
Ginny, who was used to brothers leaving her behind, could tell that he was going.
She was scared, because her brothers always had a destination… Hogwarts, Egypt, Romania. However, Harry wasn’t traveling physically. There was no safer place to be than Hogwarts.
Unfortunately, physical safety did not translate into emotional safety. Whatever Dumbledore had said or done during the summer hadn’t been enough. Harry was still grieving for Sirius.
Not knowing how to reach out, Harry was withdrawing from life and the people who loved him.
Ginny vowed that she was going to bring him back, alive.
