The night was cold. Snow covering everything. Scenery similar to that after the battle.
Ginny was standing on a balcony in their house. The music was playing inside, but, like their guests’ talking, she could barely hear it.
She was suddenly torn from the cosy blanky of her thoughts by a hand placed on her loins.
‘Two minutes to New Year.’
‘Yes? Ah, right. Champagne for me?’ She glanced at the empty glass in her hand. He smiled. She touched his cheek. He kissed her.
‘You’re so good to me Harry…’ Never think of him again.
‘I love you, silly.’
