The dust has finally settled. All was silent. No one cheered. Only the black figures were moving through the field of corpses. Searching. With their wands drawn high, ready to hex whatever moved.
The sun was high, the air was sticky.
Two figures standing on a hill, holding hands. Dressed in black. Looking down, as if waiting for something.
Then one person appeared near them, kneeled, kissed the hem of one cloak and said:
‘My Lord, we found him… he’s dead.’ And the messenger disappeared.
‘Our new world Love…’
‘For now, it looks good…’ The girl smirked. It looks good.
