Nicely done, very powerful. This is why I ship Ron/Hermione, because if Ron doesn't get something he actually wants, then he's going to do something evil, such as join Voldemort.

Totally OT, but I also really like your drabbles in lost100. :)

Thanks so much, on both counts. :D

Oh! This is marvelous. The line about "stealing" the prefect-ship (is that a word?) is something I can hear Ron flinging at Harry if they have a fight (even canonically) and I love the ending. I like that it's Pettigrew (who is, as Scabbers, an older friend to Ron than either Hermione or Harry). And I like that, while Hermione seems to be mixed up in the causes, in the end you made it about a moneybag (do I assume it has 30 pieces of silver in it?).

Very very nicely done.

Thank you so much! I'm glad the bit about Scabbers being, in some way, Ron's oldest friend still works in the story.

It doesn't have to be AU. Ron's line in PoA? GoF? when he says "I hate being poor." It gave me an idea for a fic (not written yet, may never be) in which Ron finally gives up and does some pretty bad stuff just for money. He finally snaps over the lack of it. It could happen.

I do think it's possible -- I just don't think it's probable. At any rate, I'm glad you enjoyed the drabble!

I would have sworn I had commented on this earlier, but better late than never, right?

You have been able to take an unlikely idea and make it painfully plausabile. It is incredible what you have fit into just 100 words.
