Snape swept down the corridor, black robes billowing behind him. He heard a mumble go up amongst the students, followed by snickers. He smiled wryly to himself: If they were speculating as to where he might be headed, he was sure that even their wildest guesses were wrong.
Taking the stairs in twos, he climbed the Astronomy Tower. Swiftly reaching the top, he thrust himself into the warm spring air and threw his head back with pleasure. Everyone may have thought of of him as the embodiment of a raincloud, but they'd never know how he secretly coveted the sun.
