Title: Trouble
Words: 100
House: Ravenclaw
Challenge: For the DADA challenge
Contrary to popular belief, Bertha Jorkins wasn't stupid. She knew, as soon as the small balding man took her elbow and led her from the inn, that he was trouble. She knew, as soon as they neared the crumbling house, that she was in trouble. And she knew, as soon as she heard the rustle of something small and helpless and evil in a pile of rags on the chair, that trouble didn’t even begin to describe tonight.
As a desperate Bertha groped for her wand, she wished she'd paid more attention in class when they learned the Expelliarmus spell.
