2004 power outage/ice storm over!!!!!
I hope its over. We just got our power back about a half an hour ago. Thank you :) Also christmas is here. Time for family and presents. I already spent our christmas time with my nephews. Tommorrow will be with my mom and dog. I already got one of the gifts from my mom. Its a nice new Remington 710 30-06 bolt-action rifle. Very nice if I do say so my self. Also my sister and brother-in-law got me a air force T-shirt :) and a movie called Apocalypse Now (I dont think I spelled that right). I also recieved a lighter from Molly. She gave me a Air Force zippo lighter. Thank you Molly :) Now to tell you a little about my adventures without power. Well at our house my mom collect oil laps. So we had plenty of light. Also to our surprise the kerosene heater we had in our garage works and has fuel in it. The only problem was it only had enough for one night. So we figured this power outage would last for days, better safe then sorry. So we looked all over the place for kerosene and finally after multiple gas stations and many hours we found some. We got home fueled up the heater and started to settle in. When the power came back on. All that work just to have the power back on. I am gratful that the power is back but couldnt it have come on earlier.... All well it was a fun day. Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.
