Isn't it quite a coincidence that the same year our boys, the A-Town Raiders make it to the playoffs for the first time in 20 years, it's also the same year the Redskins make it to the playoffs? Of course, it's only been what, 6 years for them.

It's still kind of odd though. Don't you agree?

I'm being punished. It won't stick though. My parents are just as bad as this parenting thing as I am at this school thing. She's said it a thousand times before, "From now on, you are coming home from school and doing your homework before you play." It's such a nice theory. And it works, for maybe a week. But then something like piano lessons will destroy it. Because I have them right after school and don't get home until five. By that point I feel like I deserve a break, then when I finally start my homework I half-ass it, or I don't do all of it.

Anyway, she thinks not letting me play the Sims or watch ER for only two weeks will fix everything... Maybe. Here's to hoping.

So I was watching this show last night on the Super Obese. There's actually alot of them. And I feel kind of sad watching them complain about their life. 'Cause they all do. One guy did make an analogy that places them under a different light. These people are addicted to food, like people are addicted to drugs and alcohol, and other really bad things. But you have to feel bad for them, because it's not like they can quit food cold turkey. Everyday they have to take food. Three times. Do you think an alcoholic would recover if they had to drink just a sip three times a day? No. So it's almost impossible for these people to recover. Which is really sad.

What's also sad is that so many of them exist so that's all that is on the health channel anymore. Half ton man, or The Heaviest Woman in History (1200 pounds!) or Super Obese or The 750 Pound Man or The 626 Pound Woman. One of those shows would hold my attention for maybe half an hour. But come on! Bring back the good stuff!!
