Portraits done! Come and get 'em!
Woo! I finished everyone's portraits who requested them!
A bit about them, first.
I started out planning on spending only a half our on each of them, but with the first one, I went wild and got into drawing mode rather than sketch mode. Bah. I tried to be faster on the next, but it came out SO crappy, I started over. I thought that the particular image might be easier in ink, so I did it in Sharpie. Then, because the person in the third request belongs to the person in the second, I thought it wouldn't be right if they weren't BOTH in Sharpie, so those are the only two in ink. After that, it was back to pencil and I tried not being so picky about everything and tried to be faster. I shaved a few more minutes off the fourth image doing so. The last image was requested by lyric_splat but it's of our friend sizzferret, a photo I took, actually. It's the ONLY one that is an ACTUAL sketch! Coming in at only 34 minutes! Hooray! I think the style is fitting for Eriko-chan. ^_^ Incidentally, his is the only horizontal image.. wonder what that means... >:P
They aren't perfect - especially with the ones in ink because you can't erase ink, and I didn't want to Photoshop them to fix them up. The point of this whole excersize was to be down and dirty sketching, which I didn't do, but I wasn't going to take another step away from it. ;)
