New Years Post 2010
Alright, a little late on my end-of-year post. Going to try and keep this one short and sweet, as not too much has changed since last year's list.
Top 5 favorite bands, These are the bands/artists I listen to more than any other.(in no particular order):
1) Pavement(No surprise, this band has been on every list I've ever made)
2) Ten Grand(Again, no surprise. Powerful stuff, brings up things in me that don't see light very often)
3) Radiohead(Yeah yeah, everyone likes Radiohead. This band has been a part of my life since I was still building model robots at the kitchen table)
4) Jawbreaker(A friend introduced me to their music in High School, deep and semi-profound lyrics from a punk band. They would have made it onto last years list, but I was listening to a ton of Masakatsu then)
5) A tie between Mogwai and Talkdemonic(I've been listening to every Talkdemonic album I can find and I don't think a day goes by where I don't listen/hear at least one Mogwai tune...Good stuff)
This list isn't for anyone's benefit but my own(it posts to my livejournal, which is my blog from Wichita, kinda like to keep everything together).
