raleigh!!!
wow, so thursday was like the BEST DAY IN THE WOOORLD.
i drove to raleigh, and made great time haha :-D
so i got to the hockstra's and saw mrs. hockstra (my 2nd grade teacher) for the first time since we moved away from MD (after 5th grade) she really didn't look much different. cept older i guess. i mean, i didn't really notice when i was in 2nd grade ya know, but yeah. OMG she's so cute!! i miss her soooo much already. there were a lot of things about her that i didn't remember or i guess never knew. it was so funny talking to her as an adult, b/c, yeah.
so i got in right at 12. we talked for about an hour and just caught up on the last 6 years. then we ate lunch in. then she treated me to a petticure. then we went shopping at this cute jewelry place. then we came back and the husbands (her husband and her bro in law) took showers since they had just gotten back from playing golf. and then we went out to dinner.
so then i went to linda's house. (she was the accompanist at GS.) and her kids were soooooooo cute!! OMG. maggie is 4 1/2 and she was just a little show off! it was so cute. every 5 seconds, it was becky look at this! oh becky come se this! becky watch me!! and it was soo cute. gosh. what a cute cute family. i want one!!
so then i called mrs hockstra and i was like umm can i just stay there tonight?? b/c i really didn't wanna drive back in the dark. i was scared!! haha. i'm a baby. and i KNEW i was gunna do that. so i almost packed stuff for overnight. but then i didn't b/c i was like i'm gunna be a big girl and just drive home. but i didn't, haha. so i went back to the hockstra's. and they were like, we feel much better about you staying here, so that was good. and then mrs hockstra let me wear her extra nightgown, and it was so funny. and so we just sat around and watched some tv and then went to bed. and then the next morning they made me breakfast and we sat around and talked! that was a common occurance, lol. then i got a shower, and she let me use her deoderant and makeup and stuff. it was so funny. so thennn oh yes, i was gunna leave at like noon and they were like we're not sending you on an empty stomach! and so i ate some lunch. and then i said my good-byes and got gas, and then i was on my way!! the drives up and back were really not bad at all. and guess what?! i didn't get lost ONCE!!! except for (hahaah) when i was going to linda's and that was just b/c it was a dumb thing and mapquest was retarded, like always, haha. but i eventually made it!! and i made it home fine. maybe my sense of direction is improving!!
omg, i can't believe how much i miss mrs hockstra!! :( :( :( i'm such a crazy kid. haha. when we were at dinner, they saw some people they knew, and the ppl were like is this your baby?? and mrs hockstra was like no, but we'll take her!! and i was like OK! hahaha. aw, i'm sad. but happy to be home with all of you!! :D
today was lots of fun too. i saw lauren twice and addie once. and i saw joeseph and that was extreme goodness. haha. ok well right now i'm going to work on some hw in my quiet house!!! :D good night!
