Good Friday
Shit, I should update this before I go away for the weekend. So, I'm going away for the weekend! My parents have flown to Coventry to stay with my Nan for Easter, so I'm going to visit them today, coming back on Monday. There isn't really a lot to do in Coventry (Whenever I've gone there since moving to Cambridge, I've always had trouble finding somewhere nice to eat; though the bar that I went to last time, Dogma, was pretty good), but it's going to be good to see my parents again. One thing I also like about staying with my Nan is that there's no internet or computer access, so I end up going to bed at about 11pm, and waking up at 9am. I'm going to be pretty well-rested, compared to the usual 6-7 hours' sleep that I'm getting these days.
One thing that's slightly annoying is that I've still got two songs to work on, and I'm losing out on about 3 days of production. Don't Eat Sky's new song is coming on pretty well! It's interesting to see how the way we work has changed since we made 'Susan'; we cover a lot more ground with each new version than we did back then, and the things we both add are less wishy-washy and more confident. I do want to go back and remake 'Susan' at some point. It would be interesting to hear what we make of it now.
