Damn it, I left it a week again, and now there's too much stuff to write about. Let's be brief about this, then.
On Friday I went out after work with my friend and his girlfriend. Despite having worked with him for the past year, I'd never met her before (She doesn't live in Cambridge). We'd hoped to see live music of some description, but we couldn't find anything, so we ended up in a pub by the river until about midnight. And then I went home!
Next day I met up with James in London. We got something to eat at a posh, but overpriced burger place which had a pretty awful soundtrack that consisted largely of Justin Timberlake. We then went to Leicester Square to see Wall-E, were confused by the fact that only one of the 5+ cinemas there was showing it (At over £13 for entrance), and bought tickets. We had some time to kill before the showing, so we went to Fopp, where James carried a book on the Sopranos around, and then put it back before leaving. We also had time for an extortionately-priced frozen yoghurt. Then we saw Wall-E. It was: Great.
We went home, watched Flight of the Conchords and Cornelius' Sensurround DVD, and then went to bed. On Sunday I bummed around in the morning until James woke up, and then we bummed around some more. Eventually we went into town, and ate at Wagamama. It was pretty good. We then got a train to London again, and got a taxi to Somerset House, where Joanna Newsom would be playing. We took some comedy photos in a nearby Caffé Nero, and eventually went to the gig.
As I'm already late for work, I won't expound on it too much (I may write something later if I can be bothered), so I'll just post this video that I took with my camera:

I should definitely go now. I do have more to say, though, which I'll do tonight.
