Hymn: Faith of our Fathers
I love old hymns!
*sigh*
The other day I was having coffee with pals in town when this one came on. As a very small piglet, singing along with the hymns was the only thing that got me through the excruciating tedium of mass on Sundays. First I learned to harmonise, and then I began to pass the time choosing the ones I'd have at my funeral. I think this was one of them. Seemingly I was an odd child :)
This isn't my favourite version, and it's not the one that I heard the other day Bing Crosby, Bing Crosby, Aaaghhh, nooooooooo!, but it's the nicest one I've been able to find on iTunes, with the least spoiling of the glorious, resounding harmonies.
