It's nearly noon and Silas hasn't seen Narcissus since nine. He's concerned, to say the least, especially when he starts hearing hisses. So instead of eating his lunch, he's briskly walking after the sounds, only to stop short when he rounds a corner. It's suddenly silent, and there's a pile of rather content looking animals at his feet.
Narcissus has his head on Thyme's belly while the rest of him is sprawled on Buttons the Pig, and Louis Alvar Quentin Lombardi XXXIV the Sheep is being happily grazed upon by Buttons. It's all very strange, and Silas isn't sure whether to be amused or disconcerted. Possibly annoyed by the random collection of animals utilizing his halls as a playground.
His feels are confused.
