Avery surreptiously slipped her shoes off and flexed her feet - hours in heels last night, being subject to Cynric's every whim (and Cynric had interesting whims) had done a number on her feet, and she'd like to just be soaking them while she read a book. But there was always work to be done, wasn't there? She'd ordered the event planning staff to take the weekend off, but no one had ordered her...so she was at work, delivering undoubtedly essential paperwork to Silas' office. Well, tere was paperwork in one hand.

Her silver flats were in the other, something that was no doubt getting her disapproving looks that no one dares voice at this point. She's wearing real trousers, a silk blouse and a designer scarf, after all; if you ignore the barefoot thing. And the metallic-purple pedicure. It's almost like she's a professional.
