"So which wife was your favorite?"

He loves this, honestly. With all his heart. Adrien grins and taps his chin with the marker. "You know, I can't quite say. The first, second, fourth, and fifth are just too interesting, in my opinion."

He studies the bored again. "How did number 4 manage nab that divorce anyway?"

Adrien uncaps the marker thoughtfully, tapping the circle that indicates Anne of Cleves' time as Henry's wife. "Poor girl. She could barely speak a word of English initially, did you know? But she was a smart girl. She just rolled with the punches and allowed Henry to accuse her of consummating her first marriage. And then ended up settling pretty comfortably after the divorce."
