Chase looked up when he heard House walk into the bedroom. The look of shock and hurt on the older doctor’s face as he saw the open suitcase with all of Chase’s clothes neatly folded and packed almost made Chase throw the suitcase off the bed and kiss his lover’s hurt away.

“What are you doing?” House asked his voice small.

“Leaving,” Chase answered simply as he closed the suitcase and zipped it closed.

“Why, we haven’t even been fighting seriously and I can’t remember being more of an ass to you than usual.”

Chase sighed “I can’t do this anymore Greg.”

“Do what anymore, what the hell are you talking about?” House asked, his voice rising in panic.

“You know what,” Chase said as he picked up the suitcase on the bed and moved over to the closet where his other things were laid.

“No actually I don’t I’m confused as can be right now,” House said as he moved to the bedroom doorway to block Chase’s exit.

Chase sighed; he knew when he and House had gotten together a year ago that things weren’t going to run all that smoothly. Chase hadn’t expected House to change but he had hoped that the older man would show him that he cared.

“Robbie!” House said causing the younger man to look up at him. Chase bit his lip for a moment “You don’t want me; you never wanted me…in fact you don’t want anybody, all you want is to be miserable.” Chase stopped for a moment to collect himself “The only reason you were with me in the first place is because you wanted to get laid, and I was stupid enough to believe you wanted to be in a relationship with me.”

Chase shook his head when House said nothing and looked at the floor. “I’m turning in my resignation tomorrow; you won’t have to deal with me anymore.”

House stood his ground as Chase came over to the door. “House, move.”

“Don’t,” House said suddenly.

Chase sighed irritably, all he wanted to do was go home and drink away his pain. “Don’t call me House, don’t leave me…please,” House said without looking up at Chase his voice full of sadness.

The young man stared at House in confusion “Why?”

Chase’s eyes widened as House looked up at him to reveal tears streaming down his face.

“Greg,” Chase said as he put down his bags and put his hand on House’s cheek to wipe away his tears. “Robbie don’t do this.”

Chase took his hand away from House’s face “I’m not the one that can make you happy,” he said as he picked up his bags and pushed his way past his lover.

“What do you want from me?” House yelled as he followed Chase as quickly as he could. “Do you want me to start being nicer to people, volunteer at animal shelters, what is it what do you want tell me?”

“I want you to be happy!” Chase yelled back “I want you to love me, I want you to look at me and not wish that I was Stacy.”

House stared at the younger man in shock and Chase just shook his head. “But that’s never gonna happen so what’s the point?”

Chase grabbed the door knob and tried to pull the door open but the end of House’s cane pressed firmly against the door stopped him.

“God dammit House let me go!” Chase said angrily.

“Stop calling me House,” the older man growled.

Chase jerked on the door but it wouldn’t budge. “Stop holding the door House.”

“Stop saying that, call me Greg god dammit,” House yelled as he pinned Chase to the door. “I am happy, I don’t look at you and wish you were Stacy I look at you and wonder why you would ever want someone like me, and I do love you.”

Chase was shocked for a moment before looking away “Don’t lie to me.”

“I’m not lying to you, I’m telling you the God’s honest truth for once in my damn life,” House said before capturing Chase’s lips in a passionate kiss. Chase’s bags dropped to the floor with a loud thud but the younger doctor paid it no mind as he brought his hands up to cup House’s face to deepen the kiss.

House broke the kiss making Chase whine softly in disappointment. The whine soon turned into a moan as House kiss and nipped at Chase’s neck.

“God Greg,” Chase moaned.

“Now see doesn’t that sound better?” House murmured against Chase’s neck causing the younger man to shiver in anticipation.

House pulled back to look at Chase’s flushed face. “I don’t want to be miserable anymore, please stay,” House whispered.

Chase smiled and leaned forward to capture House’s lips in a lazy and happy kiss. “Guess I should go unpack my stuff huh?” the younger man said with a smile and House chuckled and nodded his head.

“What do you want for dinner?” House asked as Chase bent down and picked up his luggage.

“Spaghetti,” Chase said as he made his way to his and House’s bedroom.

“Pizza it is,” House said and Chase laughed.
