Log Cabin square
I put together a log cabin square while Anne was napping. I think I like the color arrangement, I'm using only left overs from the last few quilts I've done. Traditionally, the middle square in a log cabin is red for the hearth, and I've used a mauve fabric. The "hearth" is off center, but I need the darker half to be dominant for it to line up right when 16 of these squares are put together to form an 8-pointed star.
