BREAK THE SILENCE, END THE VIOLENCE!

I saw something maybe I wasn't supposed to... I wish I hadn't, 'cause now my insides feel all bunched up. It's really easy to be misguided when using intuition as a compass, so it seems the thing to do is to commit to a path...but which?

Okay, there have been some eerie coincidences lately...

Yesterday, when I was in the Geology Library visiting my librarian friend (...oops, forgot her name...) and killing time before dinner and the Take Back The Night debriefing, I looked through my inbox. When I saw an old email from the Association for Psychological Science, I realized I still haven't gotten my member info in the mail. But just as I go to email them...what pops up? "Welcome to APS!," the confirmation of my membership!

Then, shortly after this, after sending an email to Andrew Hoyles asking him to be my new Vice President (he accepted!)...I get a message about Hall Government elections that says "YOU COULD BE PRESIDENT!"

And just now, after creating a dotPhoto Take Back The Night album to share with you, I get an email forwarded from Shari Murgittroyd about the TBTN photos!

:o\ Kinda creepy!

And now pictures from the wildly successful TAKE BACK THE NIGHT 2006!

To all the members of the Planning Coalition, I have the greatest admiration and respect for each and every one of you. Together, we can accomplish the amazing and awe-inspiring! It was such a fulfilling experience and I can't wait to see what we'll pull off next year!

Sade - "Love is Stronger than Pride"

I won't pretend that I intend to stop living
I won't pretend I'm good at forgiving
But I can't hate you
Although I have tried

I still really. really love you
Love is stronger than pride
I still really, really love you

Sitting here wasting my time
Would be like waiting for the sun to rise
It's all too clear, yeah, things come and go
Sitting here waiting for you
Would be like waiting for winter
It's gonna be cold
There may even be snow
