My car is completely packed. I am a fabulous packer now. And, oddly enough, I can still see through all of my windows. I am driving to Denver tonight, going to eat at a neat little Arabic place, and leaving from Denver in the morning to come home! It should take me about 4 days because I don't have a co-driver with me like I did on the way out here.
Squirt the turtle is long gone, but Driftwood is making the trip home with me. I can't wait to be home, where I belong. With my real family. Thank god it's over...
