you get the $100 in your shirt, $20 just isn't enough
this weekend was GREAT. friday after she got off work sita and i went up to doc's where it was packed, probably because everyone had just gotten home from school for thanksgiving. we ran into mary's old friend anthony who told us we seem like the real world cause "there's you guys and your friends and you only hang out with each other at that house" HA... he obviously hasn't been around for a LONG time. we caught him up a little and he bought us shots. then rob called sita and asked where she was... and 5 minutes later he shows up with joel. JOY... that is JUST the person i wanted to see! i walked away and went downstairs with this guy from high school. rob and joel decided to leave right away and joel tried saying hi to me but i really didn't even want to do that. apparantly that means i was being a bitch, i think it just means i don't want to acknowledge someone that's been a total ass to me for almost 2 years now and i still don't know if he cheated on me or not. really, i'd rather not talk to him at all. but they left, we kept drinking, and i forgot about the whole joel thing and had a good time. some creep tried to impress sita by telling me to tell her he's a member of the colgate family and is gonna inherit the whole colgate foundation. toothpaste! you'd think he'd be a little more clever than that. i laughed at him. we stayed out way too late and drank way too much and then i felt disgusting at madly pop'n all day yesterday.
ally and i got off work early and had flat top for lunch with sita as our waitress. YUM. we all went home and took naps and around 11 sita, rob, and i headed downtown to the metro for some crazy dance party joey told me about. i can't think of a single other word to describe it then... interesting? that's not it at all, but i can't think of a good word for it. i had a blast... there were so many crazy people there dressed all weird, and the dj had a mullet and kept throwing plastic palm trees into the audience. then this band got on stage that is supposedly the biggest name in electro, but i wouldn't know either way. one of the two lead singers was a woman... who was clearly a man at some point, and the other one was some skinny guy that looked like a backstreet boy gone bad. their music was mostly them having conversation and not so much singing, but it was HILARIOUS. sita and rob were off talking for atleast an hour... which left me with joey. i had SO much fun dancing with him and laughing at the band. it was definitly the kind of thing i would never go to on my own, but i'm glad joey invited us cause it was quite an experience.
he said he'll call me again this week... :)
i sat around all day and have to babysit at 5. back to work tomorrow... i'll hopefully find out by the end of this week if i actually have my job or not. i'm thinking i will get it... but we'll see. 3 directors have come up to me and told me they had talks with peter and said they'd really like him to hire me, YAY for that! i'm glad the people i work with like me and are impressed with my work. hopefully peter sees that too. i saved them $1700 on the printing for the brochure, so that's points for me. i smell like a bar... i need a shower.
