I don't think there is ever a way you could come to term with something like this. Today (Sunday), between 21 and 22, Emil died in a car accident.

To some people he may have been only a cat but to me he was my four-legged nephew. Maybe not the brightest but he was MY four-legged nephew. I know there is always a chance that our loved ones can leave us earlier than expected but it feels so unfair. SO FUCKING UNFAIR!
He was one of the nicest, cuddliest things in this entire world. When I last week was watching over him for my brother, he would always cuddle up to me when I was going to sleep. I would always complain to him that I wasn't able to move but I always loved every second of it.

I guess what makes me mad the most is the fact that the one that... the one that drove him over DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO CALL US!!! HOW THE FUCK CAN'T YOU EVEN CALL WHEN YOU LIFT HIM OFF THE ROAD SEVERAL METERS!
I FUCKING HOPE YOU HAVE YOUR KID DRIVEN OVER SO YOU CAN GET EVEN A BIT OF THE PAIN WE FELL YOU FUCKING MURDERER!

Another cat-owner who was out saw Emil later and called us (The number on Emil's necklace was to our home and not my brother's. He always forgot to change it). She was also shocked. But when my mother and I went over... my brother had already found him. It explained why we couldn't reach him on the phone I guess.
I haven't been able to stop cry. I still am in fact. But it's worse for my brother. He has always had a hard time of letting people close. He's also had a hard time to cry. He always bottle things up. I wish he would lean on me and my parents more during a time like this.

Tomorrow we are going to go to Kungsbacka and bury him at my grandmother's place. Emil was born and raised there. We think that letting him have his final rest in the woods will let his spirit have some peace.

I'll never stop thinking of you even if I hope the pain will be able to lessen over the years. To me you will always be Emil, the cat I love the most. The cat who would cuddle up to me. The cat who always wanted to be petted especially when he was hungry. My four-legged nephew.
