one month from today is my 17th birthday!!
today, i was the French toast queen! i got to preble st. at 6.55 a.m. and started making the batter. then i sliced the bread with the sweet bread slicer! about twelve or thirteen loaves of bread later, i dunked the french toast. then i grilled it! man! it totally rocked! then i got to clean down the grill.
here was an actual conversation i once had with Matt while making French toast batter there one day:
Me: It seems as though the French do everything differently. They braid differently, kiss differently, make toast differently.
Matt: Okay, don't get a visual in your head, but they seem to do everything with a twist!
Me: *pause as it sinks in* oh EWWWW! that's nasty!
Matt: I told you not to get the visual in your head!!
