Praying in Singlish
while praying this morning, i suddenly realised that i was praying in a non-singaporean way. not exactly aussie. but i did change my "accent" and how i phrased my words. reaaaally strange!
then i wondered why don't we pray in Singlish? why don't i use my lahs, lors, lehs, hors, mahs etc etc when i'm talking to God? i use all of them when i'm talking to people that i'm close to. so why don't i use them in my prayers, leh?
