It's official. Milan are here to lull and giggle.

Jan 05, 2009 01:22

The boys certainly celebrated new years in style, as they missed the morning training on the first day of the year. The most interesting pictures are those of the evening training on the 31st (LIKE), but they're sadly disabled right now, thanks to the heavy direct linking (they'll be shared as soon as the links are fixed). I have no idea where they spent their last night of the year (rumours suggest that they didn't all spend it in the same place, that the Brazilians went somewhere else while the Italians & Co. had their own little thing - not sure, but it's a possibility). They're staying at Park Hyatt Dubai, that's somewhat in the middle of the city, so they could have gone anywhere.

Yes, to lull and giggle. Just that.

1/1/2009. 5:00~6:30. Al-Maktoum Stadium, home of Al Nasr club.

Borriello is nowhere to be seen because he is, obviously, still stuck in the gym with the other old boys. The training in general was slow paced and there was much, um, lazing around. Whatever footage I'd catch on the TV would show them either sunbathing (they call it stretching) or spreading gossip while aimlessly walking around (they call it sprinting). There are smiles and giggles everywhere, though, and that's always pleasing to see. Especially Beckham, whom Paolo is praising since he set foot over here.

(These pictures were taken by a 7 m d a n i of acmilanclub.com. So, any picture with their tag belongs to him. This includes the header I used in this post. Much thanks!)

These three, on the 1st, were standing like that whenever the TV camera would focus on them. Nobody was seriously training, but these three, these three are the best three old gossipy ladies any team could get. And no, I don't know why Favalli is talking like a creep.

Janku: "They seriously think we can train after last night?"
The Other Two: "Boycotting!"

Janku: "I mean, just look at Pippo."

Janku: "Clarence is literally dragging himself around."

Janku: "Or Massimo. Did we even see him last night? No?"

Janku: "And Bonera, man. He's walking with people I've never seen before."
Z: "Neither have I."

Z: "But, Pato is tra-"
Janku: "PATO IS ALWAYS SOBER, HE DOESN'T COUNT."
Favalli: "...look, flowers."

Janku: "Men give away flowers around here?"
Z: "Yellow flowers."
Janku: "Yellow flowers?"
(That's Al Ghaith, Executive VP of Fly Dubai and he does something at Fly Emirates' HQ, I don't know.)

Janku: "He isn't possibly thinking of..."

Janku: "OH, ACT COOL, NEWCOMER. WHY DON'T YOU?!"
Favalli: "...Pirlo."

Janku: "Oh my God. I heard he-"

Z: "No, spare us."

No, really, what happened to his nose? *tries not to fret*

Janku: "EMO BOY ALERT. LOOK THE OHTER WAY, LOOK THE OTHER WAY."

Z: "At least, Tassotti is actually moving? Yes, yes?"
Favalli: "...Mister."

Janku: "That's it. I'm going to wait in the bus."

2/1/2009. 5:00~6:30. Al-Maktoum Stadium, home of Al Nasr club.

Another slow paced day, with the morning session missed (or, maybe it was a locked one?). The weather was especially cold on that day, not that it made the boys take out their jackets. And Pirlo's scar/injury was still there, I saw it on TV :( Oh, and Janku wasn't even seen that day, I wonder.

Here, I was more interested in the fans at the back.

The fans report that they're still not pleased with Dida and think Kalac needs to work on his reflexes. And Abbiati is the one mainly used in mini-games, it seems.

The bling is not pretty, Dinho. And it will eventually hurt you.

I'M TELLING YOU. Paolo is all smilies. It pleases me to no end, but it also makes me wonder if there's something wrong with our water.

Pato: "Yes, there is. It stinks!"

Pato is all smilies, too. So it might be the air?

It seems like its treating their hair rather well, though. The water, that is.

Really, really well <3

Ah, lazy training days. They're the best.

Galliani: "Hey, you the guy with the flowers? Yes, I'm the guy with the yellow tie. Listen, my players are THIS close from hibernating. I need you to arrange a party by tomorrow night. No desert parties like last year, please."

Zambrotta and Ambrosini went to an evening training session with a bunch of kids :D. Milan has some sort of a training camp over here, held for a number of weeks, where a selected number of boys and girls get to play under the "AC Milan" name and wear their gear and stuff. It's not "official", though, like the Manchester United School. Anyway! They had lots of fun, and there was much giggling. Mostly from Ambro, I heard.

Go girls! :x

MINI GOAL, ♥.

I'm... really not sure where this is. No news agency named the place, only that they gathered "somewhere", but I have a feeling that's Dubai World Trade Centre. They have the fanciest restaurants (and pretty much EVERYTHING is fancy over there) and halls, after all. It isn't far from their hotel, the Park Hyatt, and the traffic and roads linking the two are pretty drivable on normal days. It would have taken them some 10 minutes.

It is! I mean, I remember them having that carpet last time I was there...

Then again, I don't remember this part.

They're either lost and/or confused. But, don't worry, Clarence always saves the day.

And he does~!

Fly as ever, Pippo. Fly as ever.

Wah. You make me ;_;

And they finally made it, safe and sound.

I'm sure more pictures of this "gathering" will pop up in the local media; I'll make sure to post them next time. The game with Hamburg SV is on the day after tomorrow, so there's going to be one more post (or two, if they decided on a trip to the beach or something) besides the final post of the pre-game/game. Well, until then! ♥.
