So I've grown a fondness for Panic! At The Disco. I just LOVE that song "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" that I downloaded a bunch of music, and man, they're awesome. I'm loving it.
School is starting in a week! OMG! I'm kinda antsy about it. I want to go back really badly. But I want to move to Stockton, dammit. That may take a while... but guess who isn't temporary anymore? I kept the job! I'm now an official employee in the Technology department of Circuit City, and I just got a dollar-fifty pay raise! Yay for $9.25! *Dances* I'm hoping things will get a bit easier.
As for life... it's life. I'm still behind on things (of course), I've been playing FFXII almost religiously, and I'm starting to work my way through the Novella entries. God, I squealed SO DAMN HARD when I realized Addictive Identity was the sequal to Axiomatic. SQUEALED. I'm loving it so far, but then, I read Fancy's, and I loved it, too. So I've only read Fancy's and I'm only a quarter of the way through Jei's, but since there's only 7 entries, I'm hoping I can manage in a somewhat timely fashion. So far, the talent is seeping through the seams! But with such talented writers, who'd expect any less?
I'm still working on Xenophobic, of course. I have two pages of the second chapter written, but I've been bouncing around between that, FFXII, trying to read what I'm missing (I've missed so much...), work and AJU, so it'll come. Just not as fast as I'd like to get it out. *Wrinkles nose* Am I the only person who checks AJU for updates religiously? >.>;;; And is anyone else actually PRAYING they make it through this okay? Maybe I'm a bit TOO wrapped up in it... ^.^;;; But then, I wouldn't have it any other way.

AAAAAAAAND, we may as well finish this post off with a meme. Mmm... ganked from meitachi. (P.S. If you wrote something you want me to read, just drop me a link. I'll get to it, and it'll ensure I'll read it eventually. I try to catch up with the Herald - thank God for its existance - but sometimes I fall so far behind I don't manage.)
1. Post a list of 10 fandoms that you've had a massive love of at some time in your life.
2. Have your friends guess your favorite character from each one.
3. For each fandom guessed, write the character's name as well as the guesser by the fandom and a short explanation about why he/she/it is your favorite character.
I'm adding a four, to give you some incentive.

(Something tells me this will be kinda easy... Am I typical? Probably. XD)
1. Gundam Wing - anime_fishi guessed Duo Maxwell. (I would have taken either Heero or Duo, as Heero was my first love, then Duo was my second, and now they're equal in my eyes.) Duo... oh Duo... He's cocky, but not overly so, he has razor sharp wit and a sense of danger that keeps his excitement level through the roof. He is easily adaptable and can fit into any situation... but he is not without a sense of self. He is just amazing all around, Duo is. Plus, he's sexy and has a braid. XD
2. Bleach - anime_fishi guessed Abarai Renji. Oh Renji... the underdog of the show, with plenty of power but the misfortune of always meeting someone with just that much more power than himself. He has something to prove, and with a passion that burns brighter than the red of his hair, he does his best to do what he can. And when he can't, well, he'll grudgingly support those who can. Even with his temper, he's a good sport - if a bit on the overly cocky side. But at the same time, his character goes so much deeper than that, and you can see in little glimpses that he is more than meets the eye. His tattoos and red hair make him stand out, and he definately has the personality to match.
3. Hikaru no Go - anime_fishi guessed Akira. Mmm, Touya Akira. Calm, cool, collected, but not without a burning passion within. He has a single-mindedness that would rival even the most stoic of creatures, yet still, you can feel the something more just below the surface... the tension he brings with him, and his pure ability to create a tactic to get out of any situation - emotionally disturbing to him or not - makes him an amazing character. I <3 him.
4. Air Gear - anime_fishi guessed the split personality character Akito/Agito. Of the two, Agito is probably my favorite because of the depth of his feelings. At first, the split seems to be a case of two extremes, but once you look deeper, you can see the sadness both characters share. Agito is fiercely protective of Akito, and saddened by the thought he may one day have to leave him. He seems cruel and unreasonable, but there is much more to him than his vicious skills that derived from the road he travels, the "Bloody Road", as the Fang King. Akito, on the other hand, tries to smile the pain away, with an almost careless cheerfulness that is cute as hell. The fact that he's gay for Ikki in the canon just gives him that much more coolness. <3
5. Naruto - lil_1337 guessed Uchiha Sasuke! Sasuke... poor thing. He's dangerously single-minded... but in so much pain all the time. He can't seem to find his way, despite his cool exterior. His friendship is slow to come and hard to see, but it means the world to him. I also have a thing for the guy who throws everything away. I always hope someone can bring them back to the good side. <3 Sasuke is emo-tacular.
6. Black Blood Brothers (Does anyone else even watch this one? It's only 12 episodes and finished. You should if you haven't.) sharona1x2 guessed Jirou! Oh man, Jirou is just so amazing. Being an Old Blood Vampire, he still has the look and feel of a young twenty-something trying to make his way. He cares more for those around him than he does for himself, and he'll put himself in danger in a heartbeat to help those he cares for. He's wicked strong and a legend among those who know him - the Silver Blade. But in him, there is an underlying sadness and a deep seeded feeling that he just doesn't belong. Jirou is just so well rounded and one of those characters you just can't help but fall in love with. The last episode kinda broke my heart. He's so giving and understanding. He's just an awesome character all around.
7. Escaflowne - lycorias guessed Van! So stoic, yet full of emotion - he reminds me a lot of Heero, really. Always read for danger, always prepared to go farther than he should to make things right. He'd give his life for justice... and Hitomi. Plus... he's an angel. That's scrum-diddly-umptious. *Nods* He's very wonderful, and his subtle emotion and the lengths he goes for love... well, they make me melt. <3
8. Trigun - misao_duo and corazon_d_fuego guessed Nicholas D. Wolfwood! My love for him is deep, the one with the bad streak with a good motive. I'm always a sucker for those characters. He smokes, which cracks me up when he's smoking and shooting at people at the same time. His cross is just BAD ASS, and just about everything about him screams BAMF. I was very upset with the episode Paradise, and I CRIED. But I hear it doesn't happen in the Trigun Maximum Manga... so I may have to look into that. But in the end, he did it for a good cause... and the end where he helps Vash really touched me. Such a wonderfully gruff, caring kind of guy.
9. Rurouni Kenshin - lil_1337 guessed Himura Kenshin. Caring and loving, he still has the ability to be ruthless and his blood-stained past shows it. He's a man of tremendous will, and damn, he's cute, too. I think I just have a thing for long hair... He's wise beyond his years at times, and at other times, he can be just like the innocent 14 year old he was before he got involved in the war. He also does housework! That's amazing! He gets so many props from me!
10. Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend) - dentelle_noir guessed Night! Night is so amazing! Such a loving character, and even though he is a 'machine', they show so wonderfully how he becomes real. The way he gives himself to love is so amazing, and I WEPT at the end! Night, I'm rooting for you!
