Tash... there are somethings that bug a child worse than a spanking... for instance...my nephew Dalton Loves teh movie spiderman... so when he would be bad... we wouldnt let him watch it... and hed instantly stop with his bull mess... just find something along those lines... your a smart chick, im sure you'll think of something...

You're a great mom, and everyone who's ever spent even a modicum of time around your house knows that. For someone who has had as many bad breaks as you've had, you've turned it around and done a great job, so forget all that other bullshit. He's a kid, he's gonna be bad from time to time. We did the same thing when we were his age! =)
I agree with the first comment, take something away from him that he really enjoys. I used to HATE that when my parents would do it to me...
But I have to say, I'm NOT against spanking a child, as long as it doesn't get out of hand (beating them with a belt, etc.).

i can honestly say i feel you!
you are a great mom, i know its hard sometimes and its easy to doubt yourself...i do it all the time...but like jason tells me...youre a fantastic mom and pj (insert brennen here) is very lucky to have you.
not only are you a great mom, youre one of the best friends a girl could ever wish for. im so lucky to know you.
