slowly getting there

Good morning. Tempted to weigh in today, but said screw it. I'm not falling into that trap of weighing every day. how much different could it be from yesterday? Then I grabbed a 24 ounce glass of cucumber water, my weights, and hit the chest and triceps. My triceps are feeling it. I think it's good that you treated yourself to a little ice cream. I'm a big believer in that there are no bad foods or good foods, just everything in moderation.

Why would cottage cheese be a junk protein? My dietitian would argue that. Cottage cheese is one of the few foods I like. We get it fresh delivered with our milk every week. So good.

It's amazing how we can feel guilty for eating even the best things. Damn e/d mindset. So frustrating. I hope that goes away for you.

I'm not sure why he thinks that. Maybe I misunderstood? Something about how it's processed is the leftover crap that isn't very usable by the body? I don't know. I know. I'm terrible. On a side note, I did have a nice bowel movement today, so maybe it was all the sodium from turkey that was taking fluid and making it dry? I don't know. I really don't want to give up my cottage cheese.

I think I got it out of my system. I definitely am a labeler of foods. but not the way that others are. I label foods as good or bad, and based on what they are in says how often I should eat them. Ice cream: not so good. Probably shouldn't be eating that everyday. But it isn't something that I will put on a definite no no list. I love food too much to do that!

I hope that it goes away for me as well. It's ridiculous the guilt I feel over simply eating. Especially given the fact that I'm eating mostly healthy things!!!!

That is what I eat in a day. I think I'll keep eating the cottage cheese. It's almost worth any constipation. I like it. Yesterday, I ended up eating the last little bit out of the container. Didn't measure. My kids looked at me like I was crazy ha ha

I kero going back and forth between saying eat "this" amount and not counting, listening to my body. I went to bed satisfied. But when I woke at 3 I was STARVING! But now I'm not hungry in the slightest

Pumpkin things are really good! I hope you can try more when you come.
